Marriott expands Moxy brand in London

Marriott International’s 'experiential' hotel brand, Moxy, is expanding in London with the opening of its third UK property and its second in the capital city.

The 294-room Moxy London Stratford brings the brand’s vibrant design and service to East London, with opening rates at the Moxy London Stratford starting from £68.

Guestrooms feature sound-reducing walls, 42-inch LCD flatscreen TVs, wifi, USB ports and complimentary Muk toiletries.

The hotel offers 24/7 food and beverages and the dining area features fresh juices and a coffee bar.

There is a full-service bar in the lobby which doubles as the hotel’s check-in, where guests are greeted with a complimentary ‘Got Moxy’ cocktail upon arrival.

“The new Moxy London Stratford will offer guests a cocktail at check-in, spontaneous games in the lively communal spaces and an energetic crew to bring out the most fun from this vibrant corner of London and give them something to rave about then they return home” says John Licence, VP Premium and Select brands at Marriott International Europe.

Marriott Rewards members will earn points for staying at Moxy Hotels and will have access to mobile check-in and check–out as well as keyless entry via the mobile app.

The UK is expected to see a further seven Moxy hotels launch by the end of 2018 in destinations such as Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Southampton.
