Low-cost carrier Flybe has launched Flybe Connections, a through-booking facility that enables users to build an itinerary of individual flights in one transaction.
It says the new tool, announced simultaneously with the carrier’s new winter schedule, has created an additional 117 new connecting flights. As an example, Flybe says customers can now book Isle of Man to Jersey in one transaction rather than booking the two legs in and out of London Gatwick.
Says Flybe’s chief commercial officer Mike Rutter, “Flybe is now the biggest domestic airline outside of London by a country mile. Now, with the launch of Flybe Connections we’ve effectively created 117 new route options, giving passengers across the UK and Europe the freedom to book great value flights with just a few clicks of the mouse.”
He continues, “We are constantly looking for ways to grow the Flybe brand and directly respond to customer needs.” The new service is available now for travel after October 26th.
