Z Hotels converts London townhouses
Z Hotels has transformed five townhouses in London’s West End into its sixth property in the capital.
The hotel at 51-53 Gloucester Place – between Portman Square and Marylebone Road – comprises 94 bedrooms and a Z Café and becomes the group’s largest hotel.
It includes two new room types: King bedrooms and Junior Suites with additional lounge areas and large wardrobes.
Rates start from £85 per night.
At the same time, the group has introduced a new concept within the project – a Z Hotels CLUB comprising 20 guestrooms at 87 Gloucester Place.
CLUB bookings include complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks throughout the day, afternoon tea and cocktails. A communal area offers a sociable meeting place for guests to meet and mingle. Rates at the Z Hotels CLUB start from £110 per night.
All guestrooms come with Samsung HD TVs, inclusive Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels and free wifi.
“We are really excited to be developing the Z Hotels brand and experimenting with the beautiful Gloucester Place properties,” says Bev King, Director of Z Hotels.
"The structure and layout of the townhouses allowed us to try something new, and although the majority of the rooms are bigger, the ethos of Z continues to remain throughout the new hotel.”
